I was living the life I thought I was supposed to: climbing the corporate ladder, always busy, always achieving. From the outside, it looked like success.

But inside?​

  • I was exhausted, constantly running on empty.

  • I was overthinking every decision, big or small.

  • I felt stuck in a cycle of doing more and more, but never feeling like it was never enough.

Have you ever noticed how your body whispers when something’s off, until it starts shouting?

Burnout hit me hard. It wasn’t just a tough week or month, it was for 18 months stuck in my bed.

My body refused to keep up. The sleepless nights, constant tension, and endless demands had left my nervous system in survival mode and me all mixed up. No longer feeling like me and worse I didn’t know how to get out of it.

Learning how to regulate my nervous system changed everything.

I thought I needed to push harder, ignore the warning signs, and just keep going. But my nervous system wasn’t broken—it was stuck, sending SOS signals I didn’t know how to respond to.

But here’s what I realised:

those signals weren’t failures.

They were my nervous system saying

SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE
